  • 2 large ripe mangoes, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 large cucumber, julienned
  • 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 200 grams (about 7 oz) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • For the dressing:
  • 3 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or sweetener of choice)
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 small chili, finely chopped (optional for heat)


  1. Prepare the Fruits, Vegetables, and Shrimp: Peel and slice the mangoes. Julienne the cucumber and thinly slice the red onion. Place all, along with the cooked shrimp, in a large salad bowl.

  3. Combine and Chill: Pour the dressing over the mangoes, cucumber, red onion, and shrimp. Add chopped cilantro and toss everything together to combine. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
